2008 Report

Winners of 2008 Region 10 Final  : Lothian & Borders Police A Team

The SPAA Championship was held at the Lake of Menteith on Thursday 15th May 2008. 72 competitors took part, 251 rainbow trout were caught weighing 560lb 5oz.

The team event was won by Lothian & Borders Team A comprising of Messrs J McBride, C Pryde, K Anderson and K Hall. These individuals will represent Scotland at 2009 PSUK National Championship in the Team event. 

Individuals Champions   

The individual Scottish Champion was Jim McBride (L&B) with 16 fish for 31lb 14oz (including bonus) and the runner up was Neil Mitchell (Strathclyde) with 13 fish for 27lb 9oz (including bonus). Both Jim and Neil will represent Scottish region in the Individual competition.
