North East Fixtures

I have now made the following arrangements for this years PSUK North East (No 2) Regional Competition Fly Fishing competition;

Date;  Thursday 12th June 2008.

Venue:  Eyebrook Reservoir near Corby. (click the name of the fishery to visit their web site)

Fishing between 9.30am and 6.00pm(H&S and rules briefing 0915hrs)

I have provisionally booked 25 boats for the event and I would like to think that the change of venue may encourage one or two new / additional teams or individuals to take part in this event.

The other good news is that the cost will probably be the same as recent years.

I will circulate all the details including, maps, entry forms etc. to Force Secretaries in March / April and I would like to try and have all entries returned by Friday 23/05/08 (BH weekend) so that I can process them and finalise numbers with the fishery etc etc.

From the contact I've had with the fishery regarding this matter - I believe that we will be well received and looked after by them.

The Manager - Andy ..? was obviously delighted and told us that the new tackle shop would be open by then and promised the same kind of assistance with the organisation and running of the event as we have enjoyed from other venues in previous years.

There is a cafe where you can buy sandwiches etc but unlike some venues there is NO BAR for after match refreshments.  There is complimentary tea and coffee available for all anglers on arrival and during the day in the lodge - should you and your partners bag up early!!

SHOULD YOUR TEAM WISH TO FISH A PRACTICE DAY AT THIS VENUE THEN IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BOOK THE BOATS THAT YOU REQUIRE - and I would do it asap because it is likely to get booked up quite quickly.

The fishery can be contacted on the following number 07770685110 or 01536770264

Should you require any further information at this time, please contact me any of the usual methods.

I look forward to meeting up with you again soon

Regards

Malcolm N

(No 2 Regional Secretary)
